I met with Carrie several times and she helped me with placement of my furniture, wall hangings and she even helped me attach some of my wall hangings onto decorative displays. “I interviewed two other interior designers before selecting Carrie. My budget to redecorate four rooms was $20,000. Two rooms required all new furniture. Carrie helped me to get great looking area rugs at local stores for reasonable prices. She researched on-line for beautiful lamps and furniture. She suggested that my office furniture be reupholstered and selected beautiful fabrics for this purpose. I love the warm attractive paint colors she suggested for my bedroom, living room, office and dining room (she has a great eye for color). Carrie also helped me select window treatments that were complimentary in color and design to the redecorated rooms. She even purchased several plants to provide that extra touch of color. Although it was not in my original budget, I decided to follow Carrie’s suggestion to reface my ugly brick fireplace. This decision made a very big difference in the ambiance of my living room..

Everyday it is a pleasure for me to walk through the redesigned rooms in my home. They embody both the warmth and the “pop” of color that I requested. I marvel at how well the choice of furniture, paint colors, plants and window treatments combine to provide interest, visual attractiveness and continuity within and between rooms. The rooms that satisfy me most are those which received a total redesign – my office and the living room. If money permitted I would have Carrie redesign all the rooms in my house. On my own I would never have selected the style and design elements that Carrie suggested. But once these suggestions were made I soon learned to appreciate the aesthetics of her ideas/choices and to value her expertise. Carrie met all of my expectations: 1) she worked within my limited budget, 2) greatly reduced the time and stress involved in the redesign process, 3) provided an attractive outcome , 4) was a good listener and collaborator with me, and 5) provided good resources for services and purchases. What I did not expect was to have fun participating in a process I’ve long been dreading. The latter was due to Carrie’s upbeat manner and patience.”
